I can't possibly know, both in the sense of artists never do know their audiences on an individual level (I cannot speak to you directly here), and because I am not normal. I do not know what cultural space this occupies, and what responses thus are not to be literally held, but perhaps at least held in the mind of an audience as a potential perspective that they expect to either be furthered or subverted.
